Hi everyone! We have a couple important reminders regarding dues and our upcoming fundraiser.
Dues:
- Pay your dues! As we stated in the last email, we still have a long way to go to have enough money to fund all of the second semester events. And currently only about 230 kids are going to get to participate in the offsite events.
- We are setting a deadline of February 3rd for dues to be paid. Things are more expensive this year and we need to determine what funds we have to work with.
- Click HERE to view the list of 8th graders who are marked as paid. Please double check to make sure your child is on the list. We know there are parents out there who assume they have paid but mistakenly have not.
- If you used the 3 month payment plan option, but not all of your payments went through (credit card expired, you got a new one, etc.), your child's name will not be on the list. Please reach out to 8thgradesutton@gmail.com to get the final amount paid.
- Remember what this money is going towards:
- During the first semester, all 8th graders received a pizza party and t-shirts.
- This semester we have:
- 8th Grade Dance
- Movie Day at AMC (students that have paid dues only)
- Party at Main Event (students that have paid dues only)
- Field Day
- Promotion Ceremony
Fundraiser with Double Good Popcorn:
- We have an amazing opportunity for an easy fundraiser for our 8th graders. 100% of the proceeds will go to offset the 8th grade prom (scheduled for March 30th). Monies raised will go towards keeping ticket prices low by funding decor, DJ, security, staff and 360 photo booth.
- We have set up a Double Good virtual fundraiser! It’s 100% contactless, we keep 50% of all sales and the product ships directly to the buyer.
We’ll each create a Pop-Up Store and sell Double Good popcorn! Prices for Signature Bags (5 cups each) start at $11 and Curated Collections at $31. The popcorn is delicious and award-winning!
Our fundraising window begins next week on Thursday, January 30 at 5:00 PM and goes until Monday, February 03 at 5:00 PM.
Before the fundraiser begins:
1. Download the Double Good app
2. Enter our event code HPPOJU in the app
3. Create your Pop-Up Store
The app is available for free on iOS and Android.
Haven't paid your dues yet? For those who fundraise $500 or more, and who have not paid dues, the dues will be waived.
